Aesthetic considerations that are inherent in human beings, shape art and human life and display the requirement of art education. Individual who learn to see through art education, designs dreams and images that are constantly produced by his inner world and reflect it to the outer world via various methods , materials and aesthetics build up. In this context, he commits his dream to paper and shapes it with different techniques. At this stage, no matter what area of the student, the instructor has a very big responsibility for education purposes. One of the most important tasks of educating students is to direct student to be creative and make him free in the mean time.
In accordance with students’ necessities, several strategies have been used for the implementation stage of the project. Strategies are teaching techniques which are appropriate to student’s needs and are followed in order to achieve the aim. One of the techniques’ is “modelling”.
This study, has been carried out with Anadolu University Hearing Handicapped High School, Ceramics program 4. Year students. For those students, whose proficiency levels are lower than their peers, by being a model, the necessity of art education is the right approach.
The necessity of art and art education which is inherit in human beings influences and shapes human life. In general, art education continues lifelong.
