Design education is surrounded by many educational models, conceptual, physical, digital or textual. It is a fact that the education process is not only tackled with concrete information. As a result of many studies, it is seen that visual, perception and comprehension methods are more effective than the classical method based on verbal expression and listening for the students who take design education. This study focuses on the design approach in interior space, the application of the conceptual method in the expression of space organization and its effect on student products. Within the scope of Boundary Elements in Interior at the Department of Interior Architecture of Karadeniz Technical University; how the spaces are organized and the most basic space components used in organizing a learning process. In the design study conducted in the process, it is evaluated whether the student works with a concept and whether this is related to the evaluation of the final product. In this context, "boundary" has been chosen for the concept. As a result of the information gained in the course with the concept of boundaries, it is thought that the space designs prepared by the students will be better understood. Bu araştırma kavramsal çalışma ile öğrenciye aktarılan bilginin tasarımda tanımlanmasına yönelik bir araştırmadır ki sınanan hipotez çıkan sonuçlar ile doğrulanmıştır.
