Modern life has entered a period of rapid technological development. In this process, great changes are being observed in education, as in other areas of life. This change is often not accompanied by any development. Aesthetic sensitivity cannot be talked about in an environment where art and art education are not properly implemented and valued. The subject of this research is the lack of aesthetic sensitivity in educational environments and its effects. The research was carried out using the method of descriptive analysis, based on the study and observation of educational policies, current news, educational environments and programmes. The results obtained were interpreted on the basis of the need for art education.
